More Vintage Fabrics From Indiana

I've had lots of fun finding fabrics lately! A "girl's" trip with Mom to Central Indiana
as well as another weekend at the Lawrenceburg flea market turned up many cute prints.
Here's a few from the Brown County Bloomington area...

Love this cool Midcentury barkcloth!

And here are the fabrics I found at the Flea market. Boy, was it HOT this weekend!
These first two (the red print and cherries), are my favorites.

Most of these are on the website, or will be soon. :-)
Have a great week everyone! And stay cool.

  3. We really need to stop passing by one another. I saw the vendor with all those sack cloth peices...and thought...LOL....gee, Kimberly needs to here. Jim and I went Sun. from 12-2:30..I know..I'm not the sharpest needle in the pack;D I also met the nicest (new I think) vendor up at OVAM with textiles and pins.
We really need to meet and go one day together...with Mom's if ya want. That'd be fun.

  4. Kimberly, you have a great eye for yummy fabric! Lots of vintage treasure in this lot. Wow. Could you send me some of your flea market/thrifty mojo so I can find some fab vintage fabric too? ;o)

  5. Yes Karla, I thought that little terrier print was sweet, too.

Amy, the cherry blossom was my favorite of the bunch.

Oh Melody! You were there in the worst of the heat! Mom and I went on Saturday, and then I went back on Sunday morning. I always go over to see the big stacks of feedsacks, but they are in pretty rough shape, so I've never bought any.

Katherine, This big of a fabric haul was just a fluke. I'm usually scrounging for mere scraps. :-)

Thanks everyone and happy treasure hunting!

  9. I know, I know. And what made it worse..the medecine I'm on makes me more suseptible to Sun...I itch. Luckily My Allergy med kept me from sneezing and coughing..with it bein Fair Grounds the mold is high around there. Both there and Burlington I usually come home with welts and itches.
I won't do that again that late..I came home with a huge headache, A little breathing trouble, but it went away. It is worth it!!! Jim says I'm a nut.
