Anyway...back to the main subject of this post...I found some wonderful feedsacks and vintage fabrics at the flea market in Lawrenceburg a few weeks ago. A couple of fun calicos from the 1970's.
A cute red and white gingham and a kind of boho floral, also form the 60-70's.
And these gorgeous feedsacks!
And these gorgeous feedsacks!
This one is my favorite; pink daisies, red polka dots, and an aqua background...could it get any better? :-)
The fabrics can be found on the website here .And the feedsacks are available on the website here.
I have several projects I want to share including a painted cabinet make-over, as soon as I get some pictures taken. I am also going to need some help figuring out what to do with this living room arrangement. I'm stumped and in need of some serious Candice Olson magic.
Have a great weekend!
Oh man...those feed-sacks are yummy! You always find the prettiest fabric!
ReplyDeleteI feel for ya...taking care of two yards. My in-laws are in the middle of a move. They're selling their log house in a neighboring town and moving into a condo that's right across the road from us. They don't have to worry about the yard at the condo (thank goodness)...but maintaining the old house is a little overwhelming for them.
Their house has been on the market for about three months. My MIL wants to try burying a statue of St. Joseph in the yard to aid in a quick sale. Have you heard of this? She's so cute. She asked me about it the other day. Since I'm Catholic, I think she thought I might have an inside track. I'm not sure about that, but I did buy her a statue. Got nothin' to lose by trying!

Wow. You have been busy! Hope you'll get some R&R time this summer. You've earned it!
ReplyDeleteI'm loving your latest fabric finds, especially the feedsack with the daisies. So pretty!
Great stuff! I'm feeling your pain on the house thing. We're in Tulsa right now getting the house ready for market while we move to Utah! Keeping a house up being 1200 miles away might be a bit of a problem, ya think?? Have a great 4th!
ReplyDeleteI especially love those feedsacks! Wow!
ReplyDeleteEspecially like the boho floral fab!! And it sounds like you've been having a great summer!
