Iced Pumpkin Raisin Cookies

Iced pumpkin raisin cookies. Yum! I used this recipe from Allrecipes.com as my base. I decreased the sugar by about 1/8-1/4cup and increased the pumpkin by 1/8cup. I also added a few raisins to the batter and pecans to the top. They have a moist cake or muffin texture and are not overly sweet. My new favorite (non-chocolate) cookie. :-)
I'm sharing this over at The Shabby Creek Cottage link party. Be sure to stop by to see all the creative things bloggers have accomplished this week.

They would be delicious with my cup of tea I'm now sipping. Thank you for sharing the link.

OK...I'm supposed to be low-carbing...but I am SO making these! When the cookie-baking mood hits, I usually head straight for the chocolate chips...but looking at these, I think it's time for a change. Yummers!!!

Oh yum, those cookies look delicious with the walnuts and icing.

I agree that Hunny is one beautiful dog.

I made these yesterday, Kimberly. So good! We were going to share them with the trick-or-treaters, but I'm ashamed to say there aren't enough left! (I been a BAD girl.)

Hey Kathy!
I'm glad you tried them. :-)
I'm usually a die-hard chocolate fan too, but every now and then I get the urge for something different.
I was on an apple kick for awhile, too.
