First, I'll show you a few pictures of what's blooming in the yard...
And here is the cool 1950's chair that I'm re-upholstering...
I have the old fabric removed, and today I'll be making patterns with it for the new fabric. If all goes smoothly (ha) I'll be back within a week to show the make-over.
Now, get outside and enjoy the pretty weather!

What a cute post! Love the note.
Your yard must be gorgeous-- those flowers are so pretty.
Hey! I was wonderin where you've been. Your Bleeding heart is way ahead of ours...must be cause you're more southwest than us. Went to eat at The Hearth in Metamorah Sunday...you shud hear the Spring Peepers along the canal. We don't have any frog noises yet either. I can't wait for tree frogs, crickets, and all their night friends to start up the night symphonies! During the day we have some of the most different birds singing this year, but at night...too quiet.
Glad you came for Market Monday...the next one is May 3rd.
That is great! I love how you have the note.

After I can in my walking Abby I grabbed my camera and started snapping. I always love bleeding hearts. That is a fantastic chair. Waiting for the redo.
Sheesh...I mean "came" in. I'd love automatic spell check with blogger comments!
You have pretty handwriting. Love your excuse for not blogging. Love your flowers too.
I'm telling you everyone in the U.S. of A has been looking forward to spring! Enjoy! Looking forward to seeing the makeover on the chair.
Have a great day!

Those flowers are lovely, I can detect the scent here in NS. Especially the Lilac.
Ha great note ;)
I hadn't noticed your absence because I have barely been able to come indoors myself. I'm having a hard time sitting at the computer when the birds keep calling me from the garden!
That looks like a Kroehler chair. I hope you save that old fabric and make something pretty with it. xo, suzy
I fully agree with you, make hay while the sun shines..
Thanks everyone! Yes, the flowers are gorgeous right now...and the smell is heavenly! Our lilac and wisteria are in full bloom and the smell is filling the house. :-)
Kay, you're right. It was a rough winter for a lot of the country and spring couldn't come soon enough for me.
