A Front Yard Tour

I was finally able to take some pictures of the front yard. The previous owner was an avid gardener, so it has been a fun surprise this spring to see what is going to bloom next. :-)

Let's start the tour at the driveway.

See that bright orange near the house? Those are gorgeous poppies! Let's get a closer look.

In front of the steps there are also several peonies, rose bushes, different colors of columbine, and alot of things I haven't identified yet.

Near the porch, ferns, hosta, more roses, and another type of poppy fill the area.

Here is the view from the house. A nice line of trees partially hide the house from the street.

And lastly, ferns, columbine, hosta, and lily of the valley fill a shady walkway on the other side of the house.
Thanks for taking the tour with me! Hopefully I'll be able to get my annuals planted this week. Have a great week everyone.

I found you! Do you remember me...your old eBay friend? It's been quite a while...and it looks like I have some catching up to do!

Your new home looks beautiful, Kim...I read a few of your past posts...and I'm looking forward to hearing more. I LOVE your style. I may just have to swipe a few ideas from you!

It looks like you're appreciating all the hard work the previous owner did. I sure hope whoever buys our home is the same. I'd hate to think of them tearing out the roses or any of the flowers, but I know, it'll be no longer mine, but still, ALL THAT HARD WORK! Sigh,

I bet when you drove up to this property you were saying " and you had me at the front yard!" It's going to be a total paradise once you put your stamp on it. Totally drool worthy. I have moved many times and I always love taking the yard and making it my own, but I have NEVER inherited a "gardeners" yard to start with, JEALOUS!!

You have a beautiful home! Your flower beds are much neater than mine. Mine are in serious need of weeding. :)
